Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a California Car Crash

The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
