The defender Moved into midfield on the ball, something he's known for before. Sometimes seemed hesitant on the ball with the tactic discontinued at half-time. 6/10

Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, as always, could serve as a replacement for Stones in the backline as opposed to his partner. A careless pass after the break almost led to the first goal for the visitors. 6

The young full-back A further confident showing from the rising star after his first cap against Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from a gorgeous backheel over the Albania defence. The left-back spot looks secure at this stage. Seven

Adam Wharton A debut start for his country. A bit sloppy on the ball however his inswinging corners posed a danger. An effective pace-controller available to the coach to utilize against sides that sit back. Cautioned after a reckless foul. 6/10

Declan Rice Deliveries on corner kicks and free kicks were dangerous. Enjoyed license to move down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Granted a well-earned substitution around the 60-minute point. 6/10

The star midfielder Played in a forward position out wide and contributed with defensive duties. Displayed moments of class and mishit an effort high. Substituted in the closing stages by Rogers, his competition, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his shot excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah holding position, it fell to him to provide width out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas varied in quality. Substituted with 15 to go. 6

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. His first a trademark poacher’s finish while the second an excellent header following a clever run away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to get into the game out wide. Had a good opening after being played in by the midfielder yet Strakosha denied him. His replacement made much more of an impact in his place. 5/10
